Welcome to Guatemala

The Country of Eternal Spring

Guatemala, the Country of Eternal Spring, is very rich in culture and nature. Come and see for yourself: color is everywhere, from lush, green foliage and tranquil blue lakes, to the multicolored costumes of the Indigenous people. While traveling in Guatemala, visitors can see and admire traditional rituals and ceremonies, Pre-Hispanic and colonial monuments, landscape and nature parks. Altiplano's Tour Operator will help you see it all easily, safely and economically!

ABOUT US: Altiplano's Tour Operator is proud to be 100% Guatemalan. We have many years experience working in tourism, having helped many thousands of visitors see the sites of Guatemala. Sorry it's taken me so long to write...my trip to Takalik Abaj in January was simply incredible! William is a great guide, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable in Mayan archaeological history. I was lucky enough to have a private tour of the site and was able to practice my Spanish!

I highly recommend Altiplanos, un negocio Quetzalteco (and the trip to Takalik Abaj!). It is a lovely family-owned business, best of luck and hope to return soon!

Muchas gracias William!

Altiplano's provided excellent service. We wanted a custom cultural tour and unlike other companies they were willing to work with us to put it together. William is a great guide and gave us fantastic insight into life in Guatemala. Locally owned and family run. Highly recommended!

Usted es un fantástico guía y su conocimiento e interés hizo que el viaje aún más agradable.
Me encantaría si pudiera enviarme las frases de Guatemala que usted mencionó el otro día.
Una vez más gracias por todo!

Carlos was a phenomenal guide to the top and back down Tajumula. He encouraged me every step of the way and was very 'sympatico'. He was extremely knowledgeable of the mountain, the trees and the flowers.
Thank you for the Pablo.
